United Energy – Good Deeds Rewarded – Campaign
You don’t usually get a prize for doing an everyday good deed. But UnitedEnergy thought their customers should.
To help encourage their customers to slightly lower their air conditioning (a small good deed that would help keep the energy grid stable over the summer) UnitedEnergy offered them a prize. Money saved.
To make a pretty dry topic feel engaging, and to make the offer stand out, we created a campaign featuring comical trophies for everyday good deeds.
At Melbourne’s Around The Bay cycling event, sponsored by UnitedEnergy, we set up a 3D body scanner, and let people create a digital 3D trophy for their own everyday good deed.
On social media, locals could also nominate people in their lives who deserved to be recognised for a good deed, for the chance to win a physical trophy for that person.
(We had a ball with the craft - designing, building, and shooting the trophies, which now live on our old CD’s WFH desk.)
