Our pitch-winning platform, Switch On, emphasizes the importance of seeking out the truth, and positions The Washington Post as the paper that illuminates it for you.
We created a new platform for The Washington Post as an evolution of their long standing slogan, Democracy Dies in Darkness. The platform, Switch On, reminds people that in the era of fake-news, it’s more important than ever to engage with the truth.
We used the iconic Washington Post font to highlight the ‘on’ in Switch On, linking the line to the Washington Post masthead. Our light beam device highlights the core message, helping people cut through the fluff, fear mongering, and fabrications common in today’s media landscape.
